1:36 Lapin Lavande cottage kit

This is a 1:36 scale dollhouse kit for the adult collector to construct. I made this kit in a smaller scale to suit the adorable Veronique Lux characters or any other smaller folks that may need a cozy dwelling (with furniture to follow soon). It was inspired by a real 1930s cottage plan that I found online. Everything you see in the unfinished kit photos is included. The cottage has two removable front panels to access the two rooms. The kit has lots of character but note that the rooms are quite small. The last photo shows my own little Veronique Lux cat out front of my decorated Lapin Lavande.

The kit is made from quality 3mm plywood for the main structure and thinner ply and card for the detail parts. Laser cut acrylic or styrene is provided for window glass. All parts are precision laser cut, and the tab and slot construction gives a neat finish for even inexperienced builders. Detailed instructions with photos are provided, and I am available if you have any questions before, during or after construction.

The house measures approximately 23cm wide x 15.5cm deep x 20cm high (to top of chimney) with the front attached.

The parts are very small and fragile and must be handled carefully, however the finish you should attain will be amazing if you are careful with them. You will need a fine craft knife, wood working glue, sandpaper and a pencil to finish this kit. Clamps or masking tape can also be useful. It can then be decorated using acrylic paints or other media as desired. I have included hints and tips on decorating in the instructions to make this easier for you.

This kit is not suitable for small children. It is a kit and therefore must be put together by the purchaser.
